Strep!

Kiah was complaining of ear pain and I thought she might have another ear infection. Nope! Strep!

Writing names

Kiah has been able to write her own name for a few weeks now, but this morning she came to me with her magna-doodle and had the letter "E" written on it.

Kiah: "E" for Eli. What's next?
Luna: "L"
Kiah: How do you write an "L"?
Luna: Do you want it uppercase or lowercase?
Kiah: lowercase

So I wrote the "l"

Kiah: what's next
Luna: "i"

Kiah wrote the "i"

Then she erased it and practiced writing her own name and Eli's name again. She even demonstrated for Chris later.

Ear infection!

Kiah has not had an ear infection in such a long time. The last time she had one was back in Fresno. So it was about 2 years ago.

Kiah is 44 lbs (99%) and 41" (75%) I am guessing she will have another growth spurt soon.

They are doing really well. We got a referral for speech therapy. I think it will be good to help prepare her for Kindergarten next year. We aren't worried about teachers understanding her, it is more a peer issue. I have been thinking about it again recently, so I am glad the ped brought it up

I have been gone for so long. It has been crazy. Kiah was up last night puking. She threw-up once last week too. I think it is related to her cold still. At least the one last week was. It seems to be mostly mucus. Last night wasn't, but I still think that is what the problem is. SO I am starting to give her the decongestant that the dr prescribed. Hopefully it helps. She make me laugh though. She said she "spilled" and got "mud" on her bed. lol

Kiah got her finger pinched in our attic ladder yesterday. I think both Kiah and Chris learned there lesson there. It looks ugly, but isn't too deep. So no dr needed, thankfully.
